Asperger's Syndrome is a type of autism that affects a person's social growth and understanding. Think of autism but a slightly lesser form. We can function in society, but are awkward and have a hard time understanding certain body language or verbal cues. AS is one spectrum of many in autism. Aspies (as we call ourselves) appear odd to people who don't know us, but we just see the world differently. I could go way deeper, but here you go!
